It is a privilege to serve as the Southeast Region Sire Archon.  I appreciate the trust and confidence placed in me by the Southeast Region of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity. 

I take this opportunity to thank the Sire Archon, Archons and Archousai of Gamma Psi Boulé for their outstanding hospitality when they hosted the 15^th Biennial Southeast Region Boulé in Columbus, Georgia. Their planning and execution were exemplary.  The theme “Ensuring and the Enhancing the Future by Giving Back” was thoughtful, inspirational and insightful. 

I, also, take this opportunity to thank Immediate Past Southeast Region Sire Archon William A. Webb for his sterling leadership during the last biennium.  His leadership and the leadership of the previous Southeast Region Sire Archons have grown the Southeast Region to have the highest number of Archons and member boulés of any region.

Major initiatives during this biennium include expanded communications through technology.  The Southeast Grapter, along with the chair of the Technology Committee, will make this website dynamic.  This effort will require the participation of your member boulés. When contacted, please respond with the requested information. 

Please be reminded of the Young Adult Career Symposium (“YACS”) June 18-20, 2010.  Applications are accepted through December 29. 2009.  More information is provided by visiting www.SigmaPiPhi.org – Conferences and Meetings tab.  This is an invaluable asset and assistance to our children and grandchildren.  Please respond generously to requests for support of this important program.
