Southeast Region Grapter’s
Report to the 14th Biennial

During the 12th and 13th Biennials, there were a total of eight issues of The Signal Newsletter distributed to our Member Boules of the Southeast Region. Each issue consisted of eight pages of articles and photographs as submitted by Member Boule Grapters. The Fall issue for 2007 was mailed on September 20th. In addition to the usual distribution to the Member Boules, approximately 150 copies were sent to the 14th Biennial headquarters of Gamma Kappa Boule for placement into ‘Delegate Packets’.
One article was mistakenly omitted from the editing and layout process and was subsequently forwarded to Archon Fred Jackson as a "webpage article". Hopefully, this will spark more articles of this type for the webpage.
For the first time, a complete issue of the ‘newsletter was sent to Archon Fred Jackson for possible posting on the website.
As this biennium comes to a close, it appears that we have a complete and current listing of SER Member Boule Grapters on file. This will prove successful when, as officers change, the changes will be submitted in a timely manner to keep our records current.
It is my recommendation that the future issues of THE SIGNAL Newsletter be delivered electronically by e-mail to all SER Member Boule Grapters. The Grapters would then distribute to their respective Archons by further e-mail or printed copy, whichever best met the needs of its members. This would drastically reduce the cost of producing the newsletter.
I wish to thank all the SER Grapters for their support and contribution to the Newsletter effort. We have consistently had sufficient input to publish a completely full issue each time. This responsibility shall now pass on to another Archon as SER Grapter. I shall be available to assist wherever I can.
